Skin Trade is presented by Uncaged Films and the non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization Animal Rescue Media and Education (ARME). ARME’s mission is to stop animal abuse at it’s roots by making educational documentaries that inform the public about what really happens to exploited and abused animals as well as those who risk their lives and freedom to save them.

Shannon Keith is the Director, Writer, and Executive Producer of Skin Trade. She is also an animal and civil rights attorney and the President and CFO of Uncaged Films and ARME. She wrote, directed, and produced the award wining documentary Behind the Mask, a film that explores the history of the animal liberation movement. Behind the Mask was funded by private donations and fundraising campaigns. The film is an overwhelming success, with screenings nationally and internationally, and has won awards such as Best Documentary Feature in 2007 at the Other Venice Film Festival in Venice, CA, Best Documentary Feature 2007 at the Tribeca Independent Film Festival, Best Documentary Feature 2007 at the Santa Clarita Valley Film Festival, and Best DVD of the Year 2006 by VegNews Magazine.

Sarah Stolar is the Writer, Producer, and Editor of Skin Trade. She is an animal rights advocate and multi-media artist. She has a MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute and her experimental films have been screened at the Reel Venus International Film Festival in New York City, the Los Angeles Art Association, the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba, and others.

Ramy Hassan is the Co-Producer of Skin Trade. He was the Co-Producer of Behind the Mask and the Director and Executive Producer of Seals of La Jolla Harbor. Seals of La Jolla Harbor was the Official Selection at the San Francisco Ocean Film Festival in 2006 and a Semi-Finalist for Action/Cut Short Film Competition.
